What do you do for a living?
I am essentially a journalist, although my job title is 'editor'.
What are your hobbies?
Apart from Doctor Who and Westlake filming and social activities, I enjoy walking, cycling, going to the gym, driving, watching 70's and 80's sitcoms, the internet and watching anything with Fred Dibnah or Michael Palin in it!
How did you become involved with Westlake?
I am the executive producer of JM/KH productions, who produced fan audios for most of the 1990's which really developed into Westlake Films so I have been involved from the beginning and have watched the group grow and make many strides forward.
Whats your favourite colour?
It's got to be blue; I wear a lot of it!
Do you have a favourite TV programme?
Apart from Doctor Who I currently have a special liking for Worzel Gummidge.
Why do you like it?
It's unlike anything produced today, and is so innocent and made at a time when the pace of life was slower and simpler and therefore not complicated with today's modern technology. Scarecrow's coming to life is such a splendid idea, and the performance of Jon Pertwee and Una Stubbs makes the programme worth watching alone.
Which Westlake Film would you recommend to a stranger?
I would say Future Investment because it's the one I like my performance best in, but overall taking into account other factors I still think it is the best we have ever done and was something of a landmark production.
Besides here, where do you hang out online?
Nowhere in terms of forums or chat rooms, which I am not a massive fan of to be honest.
Who's the most significant historical figure?
I need to think about that one, ' what a stupid question!' to quote Margaret Thatcher!
What are you most proud of on the Westlake site?
The fan films page as I was involved in almost every one, but I also appreciate the way it is updated ever week and kept very fresh.
Favourite Computer Game?
It has to be Destiny of the Doctor purely because Anthony Ainley gave his best ever Master performance ever which was sadly his last.
Have you ever been abroad?
Yes! I lived in Germany for just over three years, which involved driving through Belgium, Holland and I have spent a few hours in Luxenbourg. I have been to Denmark to visit Legoland for my 10th birthday in 1989, and have been to France three times. I have never been out of Europe but would love to when my finances permit.
Do you get your news from Sky, Fox or the BBC?
I prefer BBC News 24 to be honest, and am also a big fan of their news website which is constantly updated.
Who is your favourite author or novelist?
I am not a big reader, but I suppose it would have to be Rev W Awdry - writer of Thomas the Tank Engine which I followed avidly in my younger days.
Do you go to Film Festivals?
No.
What are you five most bizzare thoughts?
1. All the guests at John and Amy Isles's wedding wearing Westlake t- shirts.
2. A Doctor Who / Star Trek crossover video made my Westlake films.
3. Pouring baked beans and gunge over Carl for a fun video, like noel's House Party.
4. Westlake Films making the children's programme Rainbow!
5. A Westlake music video.
Where do you see Westlake in a years time?
Hopefully we will have made another Doctor Who film and more original films. I am especially interested in making documentaries and currently have an idea about making a pilot episode with an historical theme.
Do you enjoy walks in the park or a night our clubbing?
Walks in beautiful remote countryside, away from parks and lots of people!
Where is your ideal holiday location?
Germany, I feel in love with it through living there and adore the people, food and cleanliness of it. And the people there are so polite and the drivers more considerate that some of the nutters let loose on the UK's roads!
Does Big Brother exist or is it a popular television show?
I hate Big Brother, I suppose it is both.
