Rail Rage was a 2 day shoot in early 2000. It was expected to be cold and wintery, but instead it turned out to be an unseasonally hot day.

It was filmed in Cumbria on the scenic and remote Settle & Carlisle Railway around Dent station, built for a village 4 miles away from the line so its almost as bleak as the story suggests!

Rail Rage makes a coherent attempt at comedy film making working with no budget and limited crew. Everyone has had to wait a few minutes too long at a station and that is what sparks the ideas in the story.

The wonderfully acted leads pettily attempt to score points over each other and pay the price as their antics condem them to be stuck on the station even longer.
